Mid-Winter Recess Application

The Winter Recess application is only available to students currently attending the 25-26 school year Extended Day program within Buckeye School District. 

This is an application for service Winter Recess ONLY and not a guarantee of service.

Application Begins: January 12th, 2026 at 10:00am 

Application Ends: January 26th, 2026 at 12:00pm

Flat rate per child: $100.00

*If your child is currently participating in Catalyst Community or the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP), you must complete an application for service for the 2026 Mid-Winter Recess program, no payment is due for this service. These entities will not cover charges if you fail to cancel services by the deadline and payment will be your responsibility.

Payment: The full amount for Mid-Winter Recess service will be billed alongside February tuition charges and will be due no later than February 10th.

*Families with past due account balances will not receive approval for service and attendance for the 2026 Mid-Winter Recess program will not be permitted. 

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds* if you do not use Mid-Winter Recess services. To cancel Mid-Winter Recess service, you must call our office at 530-295-2298 by Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at midnight. Our office is equipped to take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will time and date stamp all messages.

*Once approved, there will be no refunds for failing to notify our office by the cancellation deadline that service is not needed.

To complete application: 

Log into your connect portal family.daycareworks.com

Click on the Registration Tab

Select “2026 Mid-Winter Recess” under which you select a Program and complete a separate application for each child.

You will receive an email confirming your application was received. 

Approval emails will be sent no later than January 28th, 2026 at 5pm. The email will be from no-reply@procaresoftware.com (be sure to check your junk and spam folders for this email).
