Program Dates: March 30 – April 2, 2026
Closed: April 3, 2026
 
Program Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
 

Application Information:

The Spring Recess application is available to students currently enrolled in the 2025–2026 school year program. Submission of an application is a request for service only and does not guarantee placement.
  • Application Opens: February 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM
  • Application Closes: March 3, 2026 at 11:30 AM
 
Program Cost
  • Flat Rate: $130.00 per child
  •  
Families participating in the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) or Catalyst Community must still complete an application for Spring Recess services. No payment is required for approved ELOP or Catalyst Community participants.
 
Approval Notification
Approval emails will be sent on March 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Please note: Families with past-due account balances will not be approved for service and will not be permitted to attend the 2026 Spring Recess program.
 
Payment Information
The full Spring Recess fee will be billed with April 2026 tuition and is due no later than April 10, 2026.
 
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation Deadline: March 25, 2026, at 11:30 PM
  • To cancel, you must call the Extended Day office at 530-295-2298.
  • Our phone system accepts messages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all messages are date- and time-stamped.
 
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline. Payment remains the family’s responsibility, including ELOP and Catalyst Community families if cancellation procedures are not followed by the deadline.
 

To complete application:

Log into your connect portal family.daycareworks.com
 
  • Click on the Registration Tab
  • Under Program, select “Spring Recess”
  • Under Center, select Blue Oak
  • Complete a separate application for each child.
  • You will receive an email confirming your application was received.
 
Approval emails will be sent no later than March 6, 2026 at 5pm. The email will be from
